Honda Canada closes the 2013 Toronto Blue JaysTM regular season with big fun and bigger prizes

TORONTO, ON (October 1, 2013) – For many, Sunday’s Toronto Blue Jays™ game signaled the end of the regular 2013 baseball season, but Honda awarded prizes to keep three lucky fans busy during the long wait for spring training. Cambridge, Ontario’s Robert Richmond, will take to the open road in his brand new 2013 Acura ILX and Castleton, Ontario’s Michael Lazette can hit the trails on his TRX420 ATV.  A new EU2000KC2 power generator means the lights will always be on at Motie Jadunandan’s Pickering, Ontario home and his driveway will always be clear with a new HSS724TCD snowblower.

Honda Canada, proud sponsor of the Toronto Blue Jays™, has awarded close to $200,000 worth of Honda automobiles, motorcycles, ATVs and power equipment to lucky baseball fans throughout the 2013 season, including a Honda lawnmower at each one of the 81 home games.

“Our relationship with the Toronto Blue Jays spans more than three decades and the fans are a very big part of why we’re here,” said Jerry Chenkin, president and CEO of Honda Canada Inc. “I’d like to congratulate not just Sunday’s winners, but the many lucky fans who have driven, ridden or carried Honda prizes home during the 2013 season. See you in the spring.”
