Acura TLX Maintenance Terms and Conditions

  1. ELIGIBILITY:

    Offer is available to residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence (each, an “Eligible Participant”).

  2. HOW TO REDEEM THE OFFER:

    An Eligible Participant must visit a participating Acura dealership in Canada (each, a “Dealership”) and complete an agreement (the “Agreement”) to lease, finance or purchase a new and previously unregistered 2015 TLX model (the “Eligible Vehicle”) on or before June 1, 2015 (or such other later date as may be determined by Honda Canadan Inc. (“Acura”) in its sole and absolute discretion).Upon satisfying all of the conditions and requirements outlined in these Offer Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), the Eligible Participant will receive one (1) Reward (as defined below).

  3. REWARD:

    Each Eligible Participant who satisfies all of the conditions and requirements outlined in these Terms will receive two (2) years maintenance in relation to the Eligible Vehicle (the “Reward”). The Reward is subject to all of the terms and conditions available at http://www.acura.ca/maintenance (the “Reward Terms”). Without limiting the generality of the Reward Terms, each Reward must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash.

  4. REWARD LIMIT:

    There is a limit of one (1) Reward per person, per Eligible Vehicle/Agreement.

  5. VERIFICATION:

    Acura reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to Acura – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Offer; and/or (ii) for any other reason Acura deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Offer in accordance with these Terms.

  6. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

    Honda Canada Inc., its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies, dealers and any entity involved in the development, production, administration, or fulfillment of the Offer, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will not be liable for: (i) any technical malfunction or other problems of any nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, those relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; (ii) the failure of any information to be received, captured or recorded for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website; (iii) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer or other device related to or resulting from participating in the Offer; and/or (iv) any combination of the above.

    This Offer is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The decisions of Acura with respect to all aspects of this Offer are final and binding on all Eligible Participants without right of appeal. By participating in this Offer, each Eligible Participant is agreeing to: (i) be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms; and (ii) release the Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with this Offer, his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the Reward or any portion thereof. ANYONE DEEMED BY ACURA TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS FOR ANY REASON IS SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION IN THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF ACURA AT ANY TIME.

    Acura reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw, amend or suspend this Offer (or to amend these Terms) in any way, in the event of any cause beyond the reasonable control of Acura that interferes with the proper conduct of this Offer as contemplated by these Terms, including, without limitation, any error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failure. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Offer in any way (as determined by Acura in its sole and absolute discretion) is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Acura reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Acura reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend this Offer, or to amend these Terms, in any way without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason whatsoever.

    By participating in this Offer, each Eligible Participant expressly consents to Acura, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted only for the purpose of administering the Offer and in accordance with Acura’s privacy policy (available at: http://www.honda.ca/privacy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide Acura or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.

    Acura reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other Offer mechanics stipulated in these Terms, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any Eligible Participant with these Terms, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of Acura, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Offer as contemplated in these Terms, or for any other reason.

    In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these English Terms and disclosures or other statements contained in any Offer-related materials, the terms and conditions of these English Terms shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Acura TLX 2 Year Maintenance Details

  1. PROGRAM

    The terms and conditions of the Acura Two-Year Maintenance Program are set forth in this document.

    Coverage
    Acura will cover the cost of parts and labour only for the following maintenance services for Eligible Vehicles in accordance with the symbol displayed in the Maintenance Minder for a period of 2 years from the date of the original purchase of the Eligible Vehicle by the first Eligible Owner or 48,000 km, whichever occurs first.

    Maintenance Minder
    The Maintenance schedule for the Acura TLX is based on the driving distance and engine rpm. The onboard computer in the TLX judges driving conditions and habits and calculates the engine oil life. As well, the Maintenance Minder indicates when other scheduled maintenance items require service by displaying a symbol in the Multi-Information Display. The Multi-Information Display will display the Maintenance Main Symbol (“alpha”) as well as the Maintenance Sub-symbol (“numeric”).

    Maintenance Items
    The following maintenance items are covered under the Program for each maintenance symbol displayed by the Maintenance Minder of the Eligible Vehicles.
    Note: It is not anticipated that the numeric codes for Sub-services 4 and 5 will be displayed by the Maintenance Minder during the coverage period but the services will be covered in the unlikely event that the Maintenance Minder displays these numeric symbols during the coverage period. Furthermore, maintenance services will not be covered in the event that the Maintenance Minder is defective, but the Maintenance Minder will be repaired at no cost to the customer.

  2. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES AND ELIGIBLE OWNERS

    Only Eligible Vehicles designated by Acura from time to time and Eligible Owners designated by Acura from time to time shall be covered by the Program.

  3. OBLIGATIONS OF ELIGIBLE OWNERS

    Eligible Owners must have their Eligible Vehicles serviced in accordance with the recommended service displayed by the vehicle’s Maintenance Minder System at an authorized Acura Dealer located in Canada. Acura will not cover any costs relating to the servicing of an Eligible Vehicle by a party who is not an authorized Acura Dealer located in Canada. For greater certainty, Acura Dealers located outside of Canada are not permitted to provide maintenance pursuant to this Program.

  4. Exclusions

    The following exclusions apply to the Program:

    a) Acura Canada shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses of any matter or item not specifically identified in the terms of the Program including parts and labour for service not listed under the Maintenance Items in the Program, and
    b) All other exclusions listed in the Acura Owner’s Guide to Warranty and Maintenance for the Eligible Vehicles Shall Apply

  5. ACURA OWNER’S GUIDE TO WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE FOR THE ELIGIBLE VEHICLE

    The terms and conditions of the Acura Owner’s Guide to Warranty and Maintenance for the Eligible Vehicle are incorporated herein by reference except as amended by the terms of the Program.

  6. TRANSFER

    This contract may be transferred to a purchaser of an Eligible Vehicle by following the procedures set out in the Acura Owner’s Guide to Warranty and Maintenance for the Eligible Vehicle.

  7. AMENDMENT

    The terms and conditions of the Program may be amended by Acura from time to time by giving notice to Eligible Customers either by mail at the last known address or by posting a general notice to Eligible Customers on www.acura.ca

  8. PRIVACY STATEMENT

    Any personal information collected from Eligible Customers may be used by Honda Canada and its related companies, their dealers and service providers to communicate marketing, product and service information to Eligible Customers.
