High performance fidelity

The first of its kind in a production automobile, the TL's available multi-channel ELS Surround^® Premium Audio System was developed in part with Grammy^® Award-winning producer and sound engineer Elliot Scheiner. This 10-speaker 6-channel system delivers an astonishing 440 watts of rich audio sound power throughout the cabin. Plus, the in-dash 1-disc CD changer with DVD-Audio, Dolby^® Pro Logic™ II and DTS^®, with MP3 and Windows Media^® Audio capabilities, allows you to enjoy your music in the format of your choice. Add to that the experience of steering wheel-mounted audio controls or available voice-activated audio control, and you've got the makings of the ultimate audio system.

Hard disk drive (HDD)

As much as the TL's navigation system can inform, it also likes to entertain. The system's available 12.7 GB hard disk drive (HDD) contains enough storage space for you to record and store more than 217 hours of music, the equivalent of over 2610 songs. Simply insert your CD into the system's single-disc slot and your music will be automatically uploaded into the database as it plays. And with disc and track information provided through the Gracenote^® interface, you can easily scan to your preferred music based on title, artist or genre.

Bluetooth® Audio interface

The Acura Bluetooth-enabled audio interface is practically unheard of in other sedans. Not only is this advanced technology the perfect way to enjoy your music without the wires, but it also satisfies both the technophile and audiophile in you.

The TL audio system features an integrated XM Satellite Radio that allows you to sample some of the best music the world has to offer, all from the comfort of the TL's tastefully appointed cabin.

Digital-media auxiliary input jack

For the ultimate in personalized audio, bring your MP3 player along for the ride. Simply plug your MP3 player into the TL's digital-media auxiliary input jack and enjoy a world of music created by you.

USB audio playback

Conveniently housed in the centre console, the TL's USB device connector enables you to connect any number of compatible portable audio devices, such as an iPod^®. Plus, you can control the playback volume and track selection from your steering wheel-mounted controls.
